Minnesota PBS at the Minnesota State Fair

Join Minnesota PBS at the "Great Minnesota Get-Together" from August 27 – September 7, 2026. Find us at 1545 Underwood Street (corner of Underwood and Lee) between The Perfect Pickle and Sweet Martha's Cookies.

Daily Activities (8 am - 7 pm)

Stop by the Minnesota PBS Booth to enjoy family yard games, Imagination Playground Blocks, and photo opportunities with your favorite PBS KIDS character cutouts. You can also take a break under our shade tents and learn about how you can support public television!

Minneosta PBS invites parents and caregivers to visit the Nursing Nest, presented by New Horizon Academy. The Nursing Nest offers a private, distraction-free space to feed or change diapers while enjoying the State Fair.

Expand your creativity in the shaded play area provided by New Horizon Academy and take a break with plenty of furniture and seats courtesy of TruYard.

New this year! Bubble to your heart’s content at the Minnesota PBS Bubble Station presented by Animal Emergency Referral & Center of Minnesota.

Location: Minnesota Public Radio Booth (Located on the north side of Judson Ave. between Nelson and Underwood)

11am - 12 pm - Be in the audience for a live taping of Almanac at the Minnesota State Fair. Almanac is Minnesota's longest-running statewide public affairs program and airs every Friday on your local PBS station.

12 pm - 12:30 pm - Come say hello to Almanac hosts and reporters at the Almanac Meet and Greet.
